Alliance MMA, Inc. (NasdaqCM:AMMA) will acquire SCWorx Corp., a big
data software-as-a-service (SaaS) company focused on the healthcare market. AMMA will acquire all the issued and
outstanding capital stock of SCWorx in exchange for which the SCWorx
shareholders will receive shares of common stock of AMMA.
Borussia
Dortmund GmbH & Co.KGaA (XETRA:BVB.DE) has announced preliminary
results for the 2017/18 fiscal year. Highlights of the results include an
improvement in gross revenue from €409.9m last year to €539.9m this year.

Eagles Lose 5-0 to Browns in Preseason Match
At press time Dustin Johnson is leading the FedExCup standings with 2717 points, ahead of Justin Thomas and Brooks Koepka with 2634
and 2012, respectively. Yesterday was day one of the Northern Trust and saw
Tiger Woods, who has not played the tournament in five years, off to a rough
start. The Associated Press quotes Woods on his performance:
“Just didn’t
have the situations where I had the full club and I could go ahead and take a
rip at it and start being aggressive and going after these flags,” Woods said.
“I kept having to play a little defensive because I was taking more club,
trying to shape it and take spin off. One of those days.”
Korean player
Amy Yang leads the CP
Women’s Open at Wascana Country Club in Regina, Canada. At press time, Yang is
13 under par with Japanese player Nasa Hataoka nearest behind with 11 under
par. Hataoka led the first round yesterday with 8 under par.
The
Philadelphia Eagles, 2018 Super Bowl Champions, lost to the Cleveland Browns
5-0 last night. To the dismay of Browns fans starting quarterback Tyrod Taylor
and rookie Denzel Ward left the game with injuries in the first quarter.
Taylor, however, returned to finish the game. Eagles’ star Nick Foles threw two
picks and was sacked three times. An NFL.com story quotes
Eagles’ coach Doug Pederson on Foles’ game:
"It's
hard to pinpoint one," Pederson said when asked what the reasons might be
for Foles' struggles. "I think sometimes you just put a little bit too
much pressure on yourself, or you press to make a play -- whatever it might be.
I don't know. It's tough. Having been in those situations before, sometimes you
feel like you need to make a play yourself when you're struggling offensively,
and then it doesn't come. We can't do that. We have to stick within our plan
and stick within our means, and continue to execute."
